GROOVY Happening is back in Haworth on Saturday May 7 with the Standinz, Emily Falls, Chaz T and Tim Mulley.
Organisers promise three exciting new acts, along with the return of one of its most popular bands.
Spokesman Ann Wiles said: “The Standinz are new to Groovy Happening but you will recognise a couple of the band members.
“They will be playing a 'conglomeration of up-tempo dancey things' featuring Suzy T on vocals”.
Emily Falls have performed at Groovy Happening many times before and promise to get the punters up on their feet.
Ann said: “Come again to see the brilliant performances from four very experienced musicians who have been playing for many years.
“The band is fronted by a female vocalist, Elli, whose powerful voice suits their mix of classic rock and blues covers with some new up-to-date songs to satisfy anyone who wants to hear great music by great musicians."
Making his Groovy debut is award-winning songwriter Chaz T with entertaining and witty songs of love, dodgy politicians, the joy of terrible trousers and numpty hunting.
Tim Mulley has been writing tunes and songs since leaving university, where he drummed in a prog-rock band called Moonmouse, and more recently he has jammed in Bradford pubs.
After recording his first CD Sunflower Girl he will start the Groovy evening playing his own material on piano.
Doors open at 7.30pm at Parkside Social Club, Butt Lane, Haworth. Admission £3, plus raffle and disco.
