WHEN reading an article in the Mirror, I felt the Lord was crying over the headline, '170,000 Auschwitz victims are cheated out of Justice'.
This was over the death of an SS guard who had died a free man.
This had me thinking, why are people judging, when the Lord says "justice is mine"?
Had the people still hurting 70-odd years after the holocaust only forgiven the SS and asked for forgiveness for their judgments, they could have been free from hurt for all these years.
So many people say the Lord's Prayer regularly but fail to see what they are asking.
Matthew 6 verse 12: "and forgive us our sins, just as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us".
Do they see that they are actually saying "don't forgive us if we don't forgive them".
Verse 14/15, Jesus' words, "your heavenly Father will forgive you if you forgive those who sin against you". But if you refuse to forgive them, He will not forgive you.
Please examine yourselves. The Bible tells us to test ourselves and see if we are harbouring any hatred, unforgiveness in our lives and say sorry to God and ask forgiveness.
