CHRISTMAS cheer is on offer at Ingrow railway station with festive entertainment around the fireside.
The visitor attraction on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway will host Seasonal Songs at the Station on Saturday, December 9.
The free session between 7pm and 9pm is the latest in a series of musical events throughout the year at the station complex.
Singers and musicians will gather round the fireside, and will welcome anyone to join them either to sing, play or simply listen.
Ingrow station is home to several heritage attractions including the Museum of Rail Travel run by the Vintage Carriages Trust.
Just yards away is the Ingrow Loco Museum and Workshop which has memorabilia from the golden age of steam, along with a converted railway carriage that tells the ‘Rail Story’ for school groups and other visitors.
The museum recently unveiled new costumed guides during a special event for National Heritage Days. Volunteer guides at the are now wearing period dress from the glory days of steam.
