HAWORTH has been named among the UK's top spots for Christmas getaways.

Data released by HolidayLettings.co.uk, a TripAdvisor company, places the Bronte village 12th on a list of 20 best affordable destinations for festive holidays.

Rates for a two-bedroom rental in Haworth average £80 a night for a stay between December 22 and 26.

The list features destinations ranging from seaside resorts to historical villages.
