A WORTH Valley school is celebrating receiving an impressive official review of its kitchen facilities.
Oxenhope Primary School confirmed that the kitchen has retained its five star health and hygiene review.
The primary school received an inspection visit last month (April) and achieved a glowing report on the high standard of its catering for the second year in a row.
Head of school at Oxenhope, Alice Jones, said: “We are extremely proud of our kitchen staff who work so hard to provide delicious meals for our children and a lot of our staff.
"They are really committed to offering children a healthy and home cooked meal which is designed to help children achieve well in school.
"They engage the pupils by offering them theme days such as Teddy Bear's Picnics and Seaside Lunches.
"We offer a varied menu which most of our children enjoy, and I like knowing that they are receiving a hot and healthy meal during the day."
