CHANTEL McGregor will return to Keighley as part of the winter and spring programme for BAC2LIVE.

Making her first appearance in two years, on March 24, the young blues singer songwriter will be hoping for another sell-out gig as she promotes her new live album Bury’d Alive.

A spokesman said: “Studio 5 Live is an intimate venue for Chantel, and tickets are strictly limited. Support comes from ‘nu-bluser’ duo No Fit State, fresh from an appearance at this years Download Festival and support tours across the UK.”

BAC2LIVE have announced classic blues and rock gigs at their adopted venue of Studio 5 Live in the town’s Jam On Top rehearsal complex. The year will kick-off on January 18 with Irish trio Crow Black Chicken blowing away the New Year blues with their brand of Celtic Rock.

Ruf Records will send Blues Caravan 2020 to the venue on April 24, packaging three American artists, Jeremiah Johnson, Whitney Shay and Ryan Perry. Each performer will be promoting a new album, and their recent joint recording of classic hit Let’s Work Together will be part of a jam session closing the show.

Connor Selby and his band will play on May 15, fresh from supporting The Who in arenas around the world. The young Londoner was hand-picked by Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend to open The Who’s Wembley Stadium show last summer, and impressed them so much that he secured an open slot on the tour.
