A WARM welcome awaits passengers on Keighley’s heritage railway as it once again runs Mince Pie Specials.
The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway will operate “toasty-warm” steam-hauled coaches from Boxing Day to New Year’s Day.
A railway spokesman urged people to sit down and enjoy real ale, wines, spirits, tea and coffee, as well as free mince pies.
He said: “See our stunning stations transformed with an amazing Christmas display, real coal fires and gas lights, creating a magical glow as your train rolls in.”
A Day Rover ticket offers unlimited travel for a whole day, allowing people to break their journey and travel about as they please.
The tickets include free entry to Rail Story at Ingrow West Station, which combines the award-winning Museum Of Rail Travel and the Bahamas Locomotive Society’s ‘Ingrow Loco’ exhibition in its workshop and ‘learning coach’.
Day Rover tickets can be bought in advance, and cost £18 for adults, £15 for concessions, and £9 for children aged five to 15.
