A SERIES of postcards has been produced by Bradford Council for people to use as ‘virtual backgrounds’ when connecting with loved ones via video conferencing software Zoom.
The colourful cards feature a number of well-known landscapes and landmarks from across the district – including Top Withens, the Bronte Parsonage Museum at Haworth, East Riddlesden Hall and Oakworth Station on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway.
Zoom has become increasingly popular with families using it to keep in touch while they can’t meet-up face-to-face due to the Government restrictions imposed to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
Some of the cards have an Easter theme, but were designed for use over the holiday period and beyond.
Their messages urge people to follow the Government guidelines and stay at home, but to visit Bradford district when the crisis is over and restrictions are lifted. The Zoom album can be found on the council Facebook page, @bradfordmdc.
