THE BRASS Band Spectacular planned for this year for St George's Hall has been rescheduled for a second time.
The world-famous Brighouse and Rastrick Band will perform alongside fellow local favourites the City of Bradford Band in a spectacular evening of brass entertainment.
The show was originally due on May 15 this year, then September 4, and has now been rearranged for May 15 next year.
The Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band have been multiple winners of the Great British championship title and spent six weeks at number two in the charts with their recording of The Floral Dance in 1977.
The band was formed as a Temperance band in the West Riding of Yorkshire in 1881.
They dropped the Temperance part of the name in the 1920s when the world famous Fred Berry became their musical director.
It had an immediate impact with the band breaking into the highest level of brass banding.
