A THREE-day cinema extravaganza held at Glusburn over the weekend has been hailed as a huge success.
The socially-distanced event was the first big-screen offering at Glusburn Institute Community & Arts Centre for over six months.
The weekend opened with a screening of the British comedy-drama Military Wives on Friday and culminated with Trolls World Tour yesterday.
“There was fantastic feedback from the audiences about the films and the Covid-safe experience,” said centre co-ordinator, Debby Richardson.
“After this resounding success, we are already busy planning our next weekend of film – details will be announced soon.”
The weekend also saw the launch of The Studio, a newly-refurbished space which provided a pop-up cafe.
An Event Cinema screening of The Three Tenors: Voices for Eternity takes place on October 9 and 10. Tickets are £10.
