A COUPLE who travelled from Buckinghamshire to Keighley to see grandchildren were given a ticket for breaching lockdown restrictions.
"Travelling from Buckinghamshire to Keighley is not an essential journey – even if it is to see the grandkids," say West Yorkshire Police. "Two tickets issued to offending couple."
Under current rules in England, people should not travel unless they have "a reasonable excuse" – such as for work or to attend a medical appointment – and anyone who does need to travel should stay local.
