I WRITE to express my utter disgust at Bradford Council's proposal for yet another city-centre park in Bradford.
The proposal is to build a park on the former Royal Mail sorting office site at Forster Square.
We in Keighley would very much like to have a town-centre park, but our elected councillors – who are supposed to work on our behalf – say we are not worthy, yet somehow the residents in Bradford are.
I say they should think again, instead of spending our money to fund yet another vanity project. Why not build the proposed hub on that site in Bradford and let Keighley have our green space? This is yet another reason for leaving and having our independence.
