AUTHOR Karen Perkins will be signing copies of her book – Parliament of Rooks: Haunting Bronte Country – in Haworth next Saturday (July 10).
She will be at Wave of Nostalgia, in Main Street, from 2pm.
“This is a book full of suspense and chills set in historical Haworth and on the Bronte moors and it features Emily herself – just the kind of novel we love in my bookshop!” said Diane Park, owner of Wave of Nostalgia.
Copies of Karen's Pendle Witch short stories, Murder by Witchcraft and Divided by Witchcraft, plus her Yorkshire ghost stories will also be available.
The author's other work includes the Valkyrie series of historical nautical fiction.
Her first Yorkshire ghost story – The Haunting Of Thores-Cross – won the Silver Medal for European Fiction in the prestigious Independent Publisher Book Awards at New York in 2015. All her fiction has appeared at the top of bestseller lists on both sides of the Atlantic.
