A LITTER pick has been staged in Keighley’s Devonshire Park.
The session was the latest of several held around the area by the town’s MP Robbie Moore and a team of volunteers.
Devonshire Park had been identified by several constituents as a litter hotspot and during the session, six bagfuls of rubbish were collected.
Among those joining the MP for the clean-up were Keighley Central councillor Mohammed Nazam and residents Anna Wilkinson and Waseem Akram.
Mr Moore said: “I am thankful to the volunteers who helped me this month with my regular litter pick.
“Doing small things like this really contribute to making our area a better place in which to live.
“It is disappointing to see so much rubbish littering our beautiful parks and streets.
“It cannot be stressed enough that taking your rubbish home or using one of the council bins provided will go a long way in cleaning-up our area.”
