A KEIGHLEY school features in a BBC Two programme tomorrow night (August 25).
St Anne's Catholic Primary is spotlighted in episode two of Jay’s Yorkshire Workshop.
The programme sees members of the public nominate 'local heroes' from across the region to receive a bespoke, handmade piece of wooden furniture in recognition of work done for the community.
St Anne’s was nominated by Airedale Hospital matron Angie McGarry for fundraising carried out earlier this year.
In the programme, presenter Jay Blades hears about why each local hero is deserving of a special 'thank you'.
Pupils at St Anne's spent a week focussing on how to keep safe and healthy and the school raised over £2,000 for Airedale Hospital & Community Charity.
Its donation helped fund wellbeing gardens at the hospital.
As a thank-you to the school, the programme's expert woodworkers built a huge rainbow bookshelf for its library.
Jay’s Yorkshire Workshop is screened at 9pm.
