SPECSAVERS is recruiting – including at its Keighley store – to cater for growth and help meet post-lockdown demand for sight and hearing tests.
The opticians and audiologists has several posts available at its Airedale Shopping Centre branch as the company creates over 1,000 new jobs nationally.
In total, there are 400 retail roles – many of which don’t require optical experience – plus more than 60 home visit posts and 730 in management and laboratory positions.
Alan Gregg, for Specsavers, said: “As well as people with optical or audiology experience, we are eager to find retailers who put the customer at the heart of what they do. This will help us to continue to offer the highest standards of care in order to meet the pent-up demand brought about by lockdowns and social distancing restrictions.
“At Specsavers we offer a variety of promising careers, each rooted in first-class training and support to help people meet their goals. For those at the start of their career, or looking for a change of direction, we also have 196 apprenticeships available – a programme that has produced many success stories.”
