A GROUP met at Cliffe Castle Park in Keighley to mark the national Memory Walk initiative and raise funds for Alzheimer’s research.
The event was organised by Howard Binns, who led some tai chi exercises before participants took part in a six-kilometre walk.
The group comprises families affected by dementia.
“Some 50 friends enjoyed a morning in the wonderful and calm setting of Cliffe Castle Park and raised considerable funds,” said a spokesperson.
The group meets at the Brown Cow pub, off West Lane, Keighley, every Thursday between 6.30pm and 8pm. New members are welcome.
