PAST and present members of the armed forces from the district are being urged to take part in a survey.
Reservists and family members are included in the research, into what services are being accessed for support.
The survey is being carried out on behalf of Bradford Council and the four other local authorities in West Yorkshire.
Issues covered include how easy it is for members of the armed forces community to obtain information and support when required, whether their needs have changed in the past year and if they have benefited from the Armed Forces Covenant.
Feedback will be used to help establish future support needs and shape services. Any responses used in reports will be anonymised.
Councillor Joanne Dodds, Bradford Council’s armed forces champion, said: “The covenant is a pledge to ensure that our current and former armed forces personnel are able to access the support they need from their local authorities and other organisations. It is crucial to find out whether this is working. If you’re a member of the armed forces community, I would encourage you to take part.”
The survey can be completed at online1.snapsurveys.com/hzfz5h. Anyone without internet access should text or call Connor Drake on 07816 117776. Closing date is Thursday, October 21.
