FACE-to-face appointments to register births are available again at Keighley Town Hall.
Due to the pandemic, appointments have only been offered at City Hall in Bradford for the past 18 months.
But now people can once again attend the town hall, by pre-booking online or calling 01274 432151.
Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe, leader of Bradford Council, says: “We know that registering a birth is a significant event for a family.
“It is great to see the registrar’s office at Keighley Town Hall reopen, giving parents a choice of where they attend to register the birth of their baby.
“To ensure a safe and efficient service, please ensure you book an appointment before attending.”
Babies born in England or Wales should be registered within 42 days. If your baby was born in the Bradford and Keighley registration district, you can register the birth at City Hall or Keighley Town Hall.
