A CAR dealership has given its support to Aireworth Dogs in Need.
Keighley Ford, Kia and Mazda – in Dalton Lane – chose to help the cause throughout last month.
The showroom collected donations and made a contribution for each vehicle sold, helped sell the charity's calendars and promoted the organisation's rescue dogs. A total of £680 was raised and a range of dog items donated.
Julie Guilfoyle, long-term foster co-ordinator with Aireworth Dogs in Need, said: "The help is greatly appreciated as we are always in need of support, especially with meeting vet bills and behaviourist costs.
"We currently have 20 long-term foster dogs in our care – plus 32 others either in foster homes, on trial adoption or waiting for rehoming, and others awaiting assessment. And it's all run by volunteers – with families, jobs and rescue pooches of their own!"
