Police are appealing for information after number plates were stolen from a car in Farnhill.
The number plates, registration DF04 HAU, were taken from a Vauxhall Meriva, which was parked in Grange Road, between 9.45 and 11.05am last Friday.
The number plates were then put on a black Ford Fiesta, which had blacked out windows.
It is thought that the offender also went to the Snax 24 garage, in Cross Hills, where the car was filled with £35 of petrol which was not paid for.
