A taxi driver was left out of pocket over the weekend after the people he was taking home fled without paying.

The driver picked up a man and two women from Skipton Bus Station and took them to Park Road, Cross Hills, at around 3.30am, on Sunday.

As the taxi pulled into the entrance of Park Road, the occupants ran from the vehicle without paying the £12 fare.

The man is described as white, aged about 30, 6ft tall and fat, with a beard. He was wearing a dark red jumper and blue jeans.

The two women were also white.

One was aged around 20, had very long blonde hair and was wearing a black party dress.

The other woman was described as 25, also with blonde hair and was wearing a dark coloured blouse and a skirt.
