KEIGHLEY Soroptimists are celebrating International Women's Day.
The group will have a week-long display in the town's Airedale Shopping Centre, and will be present in person with a stall – at the arts hub, in the former Marks & Spencer store – on March 8 and 11.
Members are joining with fellow Soroptimists across the world to mark the campaign, with the day itself falling on March 8.
The theme of this year's International Women's Day is Break the Bias, imagining a gender-equal world.
Julia Allan, for Keighley Soroptimists, said: "We are excited to be present in person in the town this year to celebrate International Women’s Day and highlight the issues that still impact women and their families’ lives.
"Our display and stall will illustrate some of the specific issues and some of what we have been doing in the last year to support women and their families – and it will feature photos of women doing the #BreakTheBias sign.
"Also, we will be hosting an online fundraising quiz during the week, and the stall will provide an opportunity for people to find out more and offer them details of how they can get involved with what we do."
