A SILSDEN Moor farming family could be forgiven for milking its latest show success.
Edward Fort and his daughters, who run the Silmoor herd, saw their two heifers achieve the top prices at Skipton Auction Mart's fortnightly Craven Dairy Auction show and sale.
Sandy-Valley Copycat sold for £2,450 to regular mart buyer, the Hartley Farming Partnership.
And herd-mate Silmoor Close Up Beatexus was secured for £2,220 by another sale regular, Mark Goodall, from Tong, Bradford.
The Forts had brought forward the pair for sale due to a surplus of milkers.
There was a strong turnout ringside to bid for the 13 Holstein Friesian heifers, cows in milk and in-calf animals on offer at the event.
The next show and sale is on Monday, March 7.
