KEIGHLEY district's most and least expensive streets have been revealed.

Data for houses sold in the BD20, BD21 and BD22 postcode areas over a five-year period was analysed.

Home sales company Property Solvers has used HM Land Registry figures to track average prices, since 2016.

Streets with three or more sales were included in the rankings.

According to the table the cheapest residential street in Keighley is Minnie Street, in the Lund Park area, where there were three sales – with an average price of £43,500.

It was followed by Halifax Road, which averaged £45,875, and Cartmel Road – where properties fetched an average of £48,000.

At the other end of the price scale, Main Street in Farnhill topped the table at £700,000.

It was followed by Highfield Close, at East Morton, with an average of £657,500, and Cowling – where there were four sales, with prices averaging £630,000.

Ruban Selvanayagam, co-founder of Property Solvers (propertysolvers.co.uk), said: "We only ranked the streets that had three or more sales, in order to keep the data less skewed.

"Therefore it is worth noting that in recent years some individual properties in other streets have sold for more or less. A property in Skipton Road (BD20) sold for £910,000 and at the other end of the market there were properties that went for £35,000 and under on Rosemount Walk, Parson Street and Drewry Road (all BD21)."
