A CANDLELIT vigil was held in Keighley to remember workers who have died as a result of Covid-19.
The event took place at the Workers Memorial Day site in Town Hall Square, on the second anniversary of when the outbreak was declared a pandemic.
The vigil was organised by Keighley Trades Union Council, as part of a series of nationwide events.
Readings from the Bible and Koran were given by Keighley team rector the Rev Canon Mike Cansdale and Amjad Zaman, a community leader and teacher.
Keighley Trades Union Council president, Steve Davison, said: "Many of us have lost loved ones, work colleagues and friends during this pandemic. Many more suffer Long Covid. The virus hasn’t gone away and workers still need the strongest protection."
