TREES have been planted at Cullingworth to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
The session was organised by the village council, and students from Parkside and Cullingworth Village Primary School took part.
Twenty-five trees, featuring a variety of species, were planted at the recreation ground.
"The trees will provide a lasting commemoration of this special jubilee occasion," said a spokesperson for the village council.
Also present at the planting were councillors Mary Galvin, Maria Thomson and Rosemary Jay, with staff representatives from the schools and gardeners Steve Thorpe and son Joe – who were thanked for providing the trees and carrying out much of the digging.
The Cullingworth Village Primary School pupils present were Adam Docherty, Arthur Mason, Anaya Mpana, Lucy Hagyard and Piper Shaw, whilst Parkside was represented by Isabella Spencer, Izzy Slater, Edward Spencer, Brody Hudson, Emily Dickerson, Gracie Brocklehurst, Ruby Newton, Chloe Graham, Emma Barton and Amelia Phyn.
