A NEW comedy is coming to Glusburn as part of a world premiere tour.
Elephant Rock will be performed at the village's community and arts centre on Sunday, May 1, at 7.30pm.
Presented by Badapple Theatre Company, the production centres on a mismatched team's efforts to keep open the seaside venue Palace Theatre.
"The heyday of the great British seaside holiday may have gone but the memories remain – so too does the old Palace Theatre," said a spokesperson. "Watch the comic attempts of the team determined that the doors stay open."
Elephant Rock is written by Kate Bramley, with songs and music by Jez Lowe. Support is provided by Arts Council England.
Tickets are £12, £10 and £6. Visit gicac.org.uk or call 01535 630223.
