MANORLANDS has benefited from the proceeds of an annual primestock event at Skipton Auction Mart.
The Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice received a share of the £4,000 raised through the festive fixture.
Other beneficiaries were Brooklands Community Special School, in Skipton, and national farming charity the Addington Fund.
A celebratory event was held at Brooklands just before the Easter break, attended by representatives of the organisations.
All entries in the indoor classes at the Christmas primestock shows, plus prizes donated by businesses and individuals, were auctioned off to raise funds for the causes.
Skipton Auction Mart general manager, Jeremy Eaton, said: "We were delighted to support these extremely worthwhile organisations. Warm thanks must go to the competition winners at our annual festive showcase for so generously donating their goods for auction and to the charity buyers who always dig deep at these events."
Adam Brunskill, Manorlands community fundraiser, also paid tribute to all those involved.
He added: "A total of £9,001 was raised over the festive period at Craven Cattle Marts, including Addingham Sheep Breeders raising an incredible £4,863 at their annual Christmas charity lambs sale. These are two fine examples of the farming community coming together for a great cause."
