Budding writers are being given the chance to sharpen their creative skills as part of Bradford District Care Trust's bid for foundation status.
People are invited to attend creative writing sessions at Victoria Hall, in Keighley, where local poet Bruce Barnes will be on hand to provide expert tuition. His work has appeared in a variety of magazines and Bradford's own poetry anthology, Beehive.
He said: "Service users have really benefited from these sessions in the past. A lot of service users find creative writing is an effective way of making order out of chaotic feelings."
The sessions, on Tuesday, are part of a multi-media extravaganza running from noon-6pm. It will feature an art exhibition, Tai Chi classes, interactive stalls, live music and food.
Creative writing sessions will run at 12.40 and 2.40pm.
Admission to the event is free.
