A POPULAR bus service from Keighley into the Yorkshire Dales is restarting.
The DalesBus 821 is relaunched this weekend, and will operate every Sunday and bank holiday throughout the summer.
It heads from Keighley, Bingley and Shipley to Scar House Reservoir – via Otley, Fewston, Blubberhouses, Greenhow, Pateley Bridge, Gouthwaite Reservoir, Ramsgill and Lofthouse – providing access to the Washburn Valley and Upper Nidderdale.
The service departs from Keighley bus station at 9.30am, and sets off on the return from Scar House Reservoir cafe at 3.45pm.
Funding for the initiative is provided by Keighley Town Council and other organisations including the Jaytee Foundation, Yorkshire Water, North Yorkshire County Council, Leeds City Council and Otley Walkers are Welcome.
The service joins Cravenlink bus 884 to Malham, which is already running on Sundays and bank holidays.
For full service details, visit dalesbus.org or pick up a timetable from Keighley bus station.
