AN Eid festival is being staged in Keighley next weekend.
It's the first festival of its kind organised by the Lund Park Community Group.
The event – being held in Lund Park on Sunday, May 8, between 11am and 4pm – will feature a huge range of attractions.
There will be food, stalls, competitions, henna and face painting, a bouncy castle, Asian drummers, the tabletop game Carrom and a variety of other children's activities.
Entry to the event is free.
Abdul Shohid, chair of Lund Park Community Group, said: "This is the first time we have staged an Eid festival in the park.
"The aim is to get the whole community together and enjoy activities across different cultures.
"It's an event for the whole family that can't be missed, with lots of activities going on.
"There will be a number of community figures in attendance too, including the town mayor.
"It promises to be a fantastic day."
Further information can be obtained from Mr Shohid on 07712 222213 or Jo Horrox on 07776 401648.
The group holds a range of activities, including regular litter picks, in the park.
