A HOUSEBUILDER has demonstrated its backing for servicewomen.
Barratt Developments Yorkshire West has teamed-up with Royal British Legion Industries for its Women in War campaign.
And special figures were installed at ten of the company's housing schemes.
Barratt – whose developments include Saxon Dene at Silsden – is also encouraging members of the public to support the initiative by buying their own figures, which can be obtained at rbli.co.uk.
Ian Ruthven, the firm's managing director, said: "We were delighted to be able to show our support for the armed forces with these installations at our developments.
"We are proud to have welcomed many veterans through our armed forces transition programme and we’d encourage residents to show their support by purchasing a Women in War figure."
