A NEW bike shop has opened in Keighley town centre – creating three full-time jobs and up to seven part-time posts.
Evans Cycles has launched a store in the former Conways premises, in Cavendish Street.
The shop covers 6,000 square feet and stocks 150 bikes across multiple disciplines, as well as a range of clothing and accessories.
And there is a workshop where customers can get their cycles repaired.
Matthew Atkinson, for Evans Cycles, said: "Our shops are always at the heart of our business and it’s fantastic to open in Keighley. This new store highlights our continued commitment towards expanding the bricks and mortar side of the business so that we can support the rising number of cyclists of all abilities across the UK.
"We guarantee you a warm Yorkshire welcome in store!
"Keighley is located in the heart of the South Pennines, so the hills are always close by and ready to be explored by cyclists of all disciplines and abilities. Bradford Council is actively working on plans to make cycling and walking safer, better and more attractive within the town and we hope to support this initiative by fulfilling the community's cycling needs from our new store."
