Bradford City of Culture celebrations
WHATEVER ones opinion of Bradford, congratulations to all are in order for the achievement of City of Culture 2025.
However, by their own admission, this bid was greatly helped by also extolling the virtues of the wider district.
Not only our cities, but the unique and beautiful villages, towns and countryside are abundant with culture and heritage. They should be protected, with the voice of local residents being listened to and acted upon.
I sincerely hope that local democracy will now flourish as we all move forward to promote our wonderful area.
