Two members of the public intervened to prevent a smash-and-grab raid at a Keighley jewellers.
Mother-of-three Lesley Stead-man ran out of her office to try to stop a man throwing a concrete block at the window of Herbert and Brown jewellers in Low Street.
And after the man ran off, someone who had witnessed the incident then chased the suspect in his car.
Acting Inspector Darren Minton from Keighley Neighbourhood Policing Team confirmed that they were search-ing for a white male in connection with criminal damage.
He said a member of public who chased the suspect in his car eventually lost him at Coney Lane.
