Police in Keighley are cracking down on boozed-up youths.
Patrols are being stepped up to tackle under-aged drinkers. Plain-clothed officers will join uniformed colleagues in the blitz, part of the region-wide "Operation Maximum Impact". The campaign will include checks on youngsters leaving off licences to see if they are carrying alcohol.
And as part of the effort, the public is being asked to supply details of premises selling booze to youngsters.
Acting Insp Darren Minton, of Keighley's neighbourhood policing team, said: "The aim of the strategy is to reduce alcohol-related crime and disorder and to tackle those who sell and purchase alcohol irresponsibly, but we cannot do it alone.
"We need the community to tell us when youngsters are getting alcohol and where from."
Information can be supplied to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or by e-mail to hdnpteam@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.
