RAIL operator Northern – which runs services on the Airedale line – has launched a new scheme to help passengers make more of their commute.
The company's Perk Up Your Commute initiative is using WiFi on new trains to offer access to a range of features – from meditations to help people unwind, to reading materials and apps to learn new skills.
Mark Powles, for Northern, said: "Whilst some customers admit to just enjoying time out to enjoy the views on their journey, the new scheme will benefit the majority who feel they could get more out of their commute period.
"Perk Up Your Commute is designed to open up a whole host of opportunities to brighten our passengers' day."
