A £2,000 donation has given a boost to an indoor sports club for disabled people, which was officially launched last week.
The cash - from Keighley Area Committee - was handed over to the new pool, snooker and table tennis club at its base in the Temple Row Centre. Committee chairman, Councillor Glen Miller, said the club should be an excellent facility for people with disabilities.
Also present during the launch were representatives from the Bradford and Bingley bank, which had donated a pool table following an appeal in the Keighley News.
The club has been set up the Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure Association. It will meet at the Temple Row Centre, each Monday, between 7 and 9pm.
