A CARE trust's charity is aiming high with its latest fundraiser.
Better Lives, which supports the work of Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust, is staging a Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge.
And it is encouraging people to register for the event – being held on Saturday, September 10 – and raise funds through sponsorship.
Participants should complete the 24.5-mile walk – which takes in the summits of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough – within 12 hours.
Catherine Jowitt, charity and volunteer lead at the care trust, says: "We're very happy to be able to invite members of the public to tackle the challenge with us.
"These events raise vital funds that allow us to enhance our services.
"This event will provide people with a big mental health boost, spending time in the fresh air on a wonderful but challenging walk.
"I took part last year and it was fantastic – there was great camaraderie and support – and we hope for more of the same this year.
"The challenge is open to all and presents an ideal opportunity to tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks with like-minded walkers, all wanting to support the NHS."
