A conference is being held in Keighley in a bid to launch a regeneration co-ordinating body in the town.
Representatives from a range of organisations interested in Keighley's development will attend the February 28 event, at the Exhibition Hall, in Dalton Mills.
The conference is being staged by Regeneration Keighley.
Michael Scarborough, a board member, said: "There are several agencies working for regeneration in Keighley but there is no effective co-ordinating body.
"This could mean the town missing out on submitting cohesive bids for major funding from EU agencies or from such as the Working Neighbourhoods Fund."
Speakers at the event will be David Fell, of Park Lane College Keighley; Dave Moss, from Bradford Council; Alison Knight, of Job Centre Plus, and Celia Hickson, of Bizz Fizz.
