Two firebombs were thrown at a Keighley nightclub in the early hours of yesterday.
The missiles were hurled by the occupants of a car that pulled up outside Blush, North Street, shortly after 2am.
One of the firebombs landed in the main entrance area and the other outside.
No one was injured and no damage was caused.
It is believed the attackers were two Asian men who had been ejected from the club earlier.
The vehicle they were using was a dark coloured Vauxhall Corsa with a 52 registration-plate.
Detective Inspector Pete Craig, of Keighley CID, said: "The consequences of these men's actions could have been very serious. Fortunately nobody was hurt.
"We would like to hear from witnesses or anyone with information about the suspects."
Anybody able to assist should contact Detective Constable Debbie Gargon on 01535 617085.
