MEMBERS of Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue went to the aid of a 55 year old woman after she fell while walking in Low Bradley.
The woman sustained an ankle injury after falling at just after 7pm on Saturday (July 23).
Because of an earlier and ongoing call out to help a walker on Great Whernside, in Upper Wharfedale, the UWFRA team called on Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team which provided nine members to help.
A spokesperson for Grassington based UWFRA said: "The casualty was treated by Yorkshire Air Ambulance paramedics before being loaded onto a team stretcher and carried down to the waiting road ambulance.
"We would like to wish the casualty a speedy recovery and thank the Calder Valley members who turned out to help."
