Three new magistrates have joined the Keighley bench.

The trio - Stephanie Bailey, Gary Marlow and Emma Smith - was sworn in at the courthouse in Bingley.

Mrs Bailey was born and educated in Bradford, before moving to Bingley more than 20 years ago. She is married with two teenage children. She works part-time in local schools and helps invigilate exams for secondary schools.

Mr Marlow has lived locally for eight years and has served in the Royal Navy. He gained a university degree in 2000 and now works as an IT technician at a local college. He is married with a family.

Mrs Smith has lived in the area for more than seven years with her husband and three young children. She is involved in local children's groups Judith Beaumont, of Bingley Magistrates' Court, said anyone else - over the age of 18 - willing to become a magistrate should contact her on 01274 518325
