A THEATRE group is treading the boards again for the first time in nearly three years.
Sutton’s Green Hut Theatre Company is presenting an Agatha Christie-style whodunnit.
The production sees five real-life actors portray members of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society, who are in turn attempting to perform a murder-mystery.
A family has assembled for a will reading, and siblings are getting bumped off one by one.
The production is very much a family affair – with the cast comprising mother-and-daughter Alison and Emma Jayne Waters, and parents-and-daughter Katrina, David and Jamie Knights.
Performances are at Sutton Village Hall on Friday and Saturday September 9 and 10, at 7.15pm.
Tickets are £8 – go to ticketsource.co.uk/suttons-green-hut-theatre-company.
Green Hut is performing Aladdin in December.
Children aged eight and above are invited to join the cast, with rehearsals beginning next month. Parents should contact 07768 964110 or suttongreenhuttheatre@gmail.com.
