Organisers of the Keighley Manorlands Challenge are celebrating after raising a record £51,000 for the Oxenhope-based hospice.
As part of the 2007 year-long challenge, a sponsored walk was held in June and 250 guests enjoyed an annual beef and beer dinner at Ilkley in November. The event raised more than £40,000 and included an auction which alone raised £25,000.
Local companies and Timothy Taylor pubs also got involved by holding events and making donations throughout the year.
The first event in this year's challenge will be a sponsored walk on Sunday, June 8. The beef and beer dinner takes place on Thursday, November 13.
