A FUN day to remember was had by many young disabled people at their annual disabled sports day held in Doncaster last month.
Lions clubs around the district were joined by Keighley Lions who helped provide games and refreshments.
"The weather was glorious and everyone taking part really enjoyed the day. It was lovely to see the beaming smiles on everyone's faces," said Keighley Lions president Carole Ogden.
The event has been going for many years and for one competitor, from Keighley, it was his 20th visit.
The event is based around fun, rather than skill, but nevertheless brought out the competitive spirit of those who joined in to add to the excitement.
The day was rounded off with a presentation ceremony where medals were handed out to everyone who took part and trophies were presented to the winners.
They are all looking forward to taking part again next year.
