Residents have another week to nominate someone as a Community Star.
The award scheme aims to recognise the unstinting work of volunteers in the communities.
Groups and individuals can be nominated for the six separate awards before March 14.
The awards are being organised by Bradford Council's Keighley Area Committee.
Keighley News editor Malcolm Hoddy last month gave the newspaper's support to the scheme. He said there were many people in the community who richly deserved public recognition for their efforts.
Organisers particularly want more nominations for the good neighbour section of the scheme. There are Community Star categories for 13 to 25-year-olds and over-25s who helped improve amenities and resources in their neighbourhoods.
There are also awards for making communities safer, improving the environment and sporting achievement.
Nomination forms and more details are available from Sue Gledhill, Keighley Area Co-ordinator's Office, Keighley Town Hall, Bow Street, Keighley BD21 2PN, or by contacting Sue on 01535 618008 or by e-mail to susan.gledhill@bradford.gov.uk.
