One woman has been injured in a three-car pile up on Bingley bypass this morning.

The crash happened at about 7.40am outside Marley Sewage Works in the direction of Bingley, causing long tailbacks in the morning rush hour traffic.

The injured woman, is in her thirties and was taken to Airedale General Hospital where she is receiving treatment.

A police spokesman said: "The woman sustained head injuries but they were not serious."

A Rover, Renault Megan and a Proton car were involved in the collision.
