A fire in an electrical supply box smoke logged a building.

Employees at Powerrun, in South Street, Keighley, tried tackling the blaze themselves but had to call the fire service.

Firefighters, some wearing breathing apparatus, used a dry powder extinguisher to put out the flames.

A special ventilation fan was then used to clear the smoke from the premises.

Two crews from Keighley Fire Station attended the incident, just before 5pm yesterday.

The fire was restricted to the supply box and a waste bin beneath it.
